The Seneca Lodge

Warm and classic The Seneca Lodge features a queen-size antique brass bed with luxurious decorator linens and painted suede walls. Named for the schoolhouse in Seneca, New Mexico (the nightstands are antique schooldesks from the old Seneca Schoolhouse). There is a private bath with tub and shower. The suite is filled with local historic photos of McCloud logging and railroading as well as books on travel and history. Enjoy the private deck overlooking the "old apple tree" garden and the lawn area beyond. The sitting area has a queen-size sofa sleeper, and there is a small kitchen as well. This suite will sleep four (4)

The Seneca Lodge is named to pay homeage to the pioneers of our family who lived along the Texas - New Mexico border. Seneca, New Mexico is now merely a sign post along the highway now, where the remains of an old adobe school gymnasium can be seen. It was once a thriving farming and ranching community where people would gather to live and celebrate life. On Saturday night there would be a community dance down at the old Seneca School Gym.

From The Seneca Lodge Diary: " It's delightful to be here again. Beth you have a charming decorative flair which makes The Century House Inn unique. The quietness gives a relaxing atmosphere. We are enjoying our visit.
